Privacy Policy — OneTool

Last updated: 7 November 2026

This privacy policy describes how OneTool (net.iappscl.onetool), developed by Luigi Casella / IAppsCL ("we"), handles data when you use it.

What the app does

OneTool bundles more than 20 practical tools (ruler, level, compass, sound meter, stopwatch, metronome, QR scanner/generator, flashlight, calculator, password generator and more) in a single app, organized by category.

Data processed and where it stays

Every tool works entirely on your device. We don't run a server and we don't receive or store your data.

We don't sell, share, or transmit the data listed above to third parties.

Third-party services

The app integrates two Google services, which operate under their own privacy policies:

Permissions requested and why

PermissionReason
Camera (CAMERA)Magnifier, QR scanner, flashlight/flash, heart rate
Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO)Measure sound level with the sound meter
Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION)Compass, altimeter and speedometer
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)Alert you when a timer expires
Exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM)Trigger the timer at the exact time you set
Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, Android 9 and earlier only)Save a generated QR code image, if you choose to

Heart rate: this is not a medical device. The reading is indicative only and must not be used for diagnosis or treatment; for health concerns, see a doctor.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect data about them. In Italy 14 is the minimum age to consent to online services on one's own (Art. 2-quinquies of the Italian Privacy Code); in other EU countries it can be up to 16: below that age, consent to personalised ads must be given by a parent or guardian.

Data controller, legal bases and transfers

The data controller is Luigi Casella (IAppsCL), an independent developer, reachable at IAppsCL@gmail.com. No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed, as one is not required for this kind of processing.

Transfers outside the EU: Google may process advertising data in the United States. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, and on standard contractual clauses.

Changing or withdrawing consent: where the law requires it, the app's Settings include "Ad privacy choices", which reopens Google's form. You can change your choices or withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.

Your rights

Since operating data stays on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. For advertising identifiers managed by Google, you can manage your ad preferences from your Android device settings or at adssettings.google.com.

Under Articles 15-22 GDPR you have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise them, write to IAppsCL@gmail.com; for data collected by Google you can also contact Google directly. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app or legal requirements change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
